How to make a payment

Our support team is available 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. To see available support options, please click here.

When completing your payment, Convera will display all available payment options based on the country selected. If you do not see a bank transfer payment option in your local currency, you can select another available currency listed (GBP, USD, EUR). At the end of the checkout process, you will be provided with Convera’s bank details and instructions to share with your bank. Based on the currency chosen, you will need to ask your bank to convert your funds into the currency selected before they are sent to Convera. Please note that you may incur transaction charges from your bank to do the conversion. Your payment will typically be sent to your institution within four days of the time of payment.

How it works:

  • Enter amount you wish to pay
  • Select the country where the bank you will be paying from is located
  • If your local currency bank transfer option is not available, select another currency from the list provided
  • Enter student and payer details
  • Download PDF payment instructions to execute payment with your bank
  • Ask your bank to convert the funds into the selected currency before sending to Convera
  • Track your payment status at students.convera.com/#!/tracking

You cannot change the currency once the payment process is completed. You will need to complete the online process again. If you have already made your payment, contact your bank to stop the transfer. If Convera has already received your funds, you will not be able to cancel your payment. Once your payment is delivered to your institution, you can request a refund.

When making a payment request, you may be prompted to enter your student ID (Eagle ID, Banner ID, Invoice ID, etc.). Your student ID may be required by your institution to make a payment through Convera GlobalPay for Students because it allows the institution to identify the payment as belonging to you. It can usually be found on school, college, or university documents, such as an invoice or course registration. If you cannot find your student ID, contact your institution directly for more help.

Please contact your institution directly who can accommodate your request for a receipt.

When you initiate a payment or a refund, we (Convera) send you emails (from [email protected]) on behalf of your institution. The payment or refund reference is included in these emails. If you can’t find your reference number, use our payment or refund reference locator tool.

To use this tool:

1. Select ‘payment’ or ‘refund’.

2. Enter your institution country and name.

3. Enter your full name and student ID.

4. Click Submit. You will be able to view all payments or refunds made in the past and their associated reference number.

Still can’t find your reference number? Reach out to our support team here.

Using the Convera payment and refund tracking tool, you can easily find out the latest status of where your payment or refund is. Please have your payment or refund reference number ready.

Depending on the payment method chosen, the time to deliver the payment to your institution may vary. Typically:

  • Bank transfer: Your payment will be delivered to your institution within four business days of you completing your offline transfer.
  • Credit card: Your payment will be delivered to your institution within three to four business days.
  • Online bank transfer: Your payment will be delivered to your institution, typically within three to four business days.

Note: The estimated payment processing timelines mentioned herein are approximate and may vary based on factors including but not limited to bank holidays, weekends, intermediary banks, time zone differences, banking procedures, currency conversion, and local regulations in the sender and recipient’s country. While we strive to process payment within the given time frame, delays may occur, and actual timelines can differ. Your payment may take longer to reach your institution if we need to review your payment or documentation or collect additional information. If anything is required from you, Convera will contact you directly.

If your ‘bank country’ is not listed when you are completing the payment process, this is likely due to international sanctions and regulations. Please review our information on sanctioned countries here.

Please do not attempt to use a country as your ‘bank country’ if it does not match the country in which your ‘bank account’ is established, as your payment will likely be delayed or declined.

If you are unable to find your institution’s platform via their website, please visit https://students.convera.com/#!/landing, select the country of your institution, and then select your institution from the drop-down list. Alternatively, please contact your institution directly for support.
