How to make a payment

Our support team is available 24/5. Click here to see the available ways to get in touch.

Available payment options are displayed during checkout and depend on your institution and bank country. To view all options, select your institution and country, enter the payment amount, and choose the country where your bank is located.

If your local currency is not shown, it is not currently supported for that payment, and we’re unable to offer it at this time.

Once a payment has been completed, the currency cannot be changed. You will need to complete the online payment process again using the correct currency.

If you have already sent the payment, please contact your bank as soon as possible to request that the transfer be stopped or the funds recalled. In some cases, you may also ask your bank to amend the currency; however, this is not always guaranteed and may result in a different amount being received, as your bank’s exchange rates would apply.

If Convera has already received the funds, the payment cannot be cancelled. Once the payment has been delivered to your institution, you may request a refund directly from them.

When making a payment request, you may be prompted to enter your student ID (Eagle ID, Banner ID, Invoice ID, etc). Your student ID may be required by your institution to make a payment through Convera GlobalPay for Students because it allows the institution to identify the payment as belonging to you. It can usually be found on school, college, or university documents, such as an invoice or course registration. If you cannot find your student ID, contact your institution directly for more help.

Receipts are issued by your institution, not by Convera, as we are not the final recipient of the funds. Please contact your institution directly, and they’ll be able to assist with your request.

When you initiate a payment or a refund, we (Convera) send you emails (from [email protected]) on behalf of your institution. The payment or refund reference is included in these emails. If you can’t find your reference number, use our payment or refund reference locator tool.

To use this tool:

  1. Select ’payment’ or ’refund’.
  2. Enter your institution country and name.
  3. Enter your full name and student ID.
  4. Click Submit. You will be able to view all payments or refunds made in the past and their associated reference number.

Still can’t find your reference number? Reach out to our support team here.

Using the Convera payment and refund tracking tool, you can easily find out the latest status of where your payment or refund is. Please have your payment or refund reference number ready.

Payment delivery times vary depending on the payment method selected:

  • Bank transfer: Typically delivered within 4 business days after you complete the transfer with your bank.
  • Credit card: Typically delivered within 3–4 business days.
  • Online bank transfer: Typically delivered within 3–4 business days.

Please note that delivery may take longer if additional review, documentation, or information is required. If anything is needed from you, Convera will contact you directly by email on the address you provide when making the payment reference.

If your ‘bank country’ is not listed when you are completing the payment process, this is likely due to international sanctions and regulations. Please review our information on sanctioned countries here.

Please do not attempt to use a country as your ‘bank country’ if it does not match the country in which your ‘bank account’ is established, as your payment will likely be delayed or declined.

If you can’t find the platform on your institution’s website, please visit: https://students.convera.com/#!/landing, select your institution’s country, and then choose your institution from the list.

Alternatively, please contact your institution directly for assistance.
