I have a Convera issued IBAN, will Verification of Payee be conducted when a EU remitter is paying me?

Today:
VoP checks for Convera-issued IBANs or Virtual Accounts (Europe and Malta) are not yet available through the EU VoP scheme. In practice, if a EU remitter tries to carry out a VoP check on a Convera-issued IBAN, they may receive a “Verification not possible” outcome because these accounts are not currently listed in the EPC scheme lookup.

What’s next:
We are preparing to connect to the EPC EU VoP scheme in 2026. Once this migration is complete, all Convera-issued Virtual Accounts (Europe and Malta) will be published and fully reachable via the EPC scheme. At that point, EU remitters will receive standard VoP outcomes such as Match, Close match, or No match (or equivalent scheme results).
