Working together for the future
As a responsible corporate citizen Convera recognizes the importance of contributing to a positive future for employees, customers, partners, the environment, and the communities it operates within.
Our vision is to establish a market and sector leading ESG program, grounded in realism and incorporating enterprise-wide sustainability principles as an intrinsic part of our operations.
To achieve this vision, we have committed to a three-year plan that will ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and to establish a detailed framework of mechanisms to position Convera at the forefront of ESG in the fintech sector.

Environment
Our commitment to a better future
Convera will complete a review of all customer industry sectors to assess any associated risk in connection with ESG. We will also review our carbon footprint and whether it can be reduced.
In addition, we will undertake a review of all offices and introduce a set of global standards to ensure enterprise-wide alignment. This self-governance is particularly important to our employees who have told us how Convera impacts on the environment must start in the workplace.

Our efforts to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace
Continued development of Convera’s diversity, equity, and inclusion program, including a deep dive with specific groups.
We will enhance our connection with charities and associated ESG initiatives across our communities globally by creating opportunities for employees to engage with environmental and community-based projects.
We also intend to enhance our vendor responsibility engagement and review our labor standards in line with our overall approach to Human Rights.
Governance
Our approach to creating best-in-class governance of the ESG program
Ongoing governance of the program will be managed under Convera’s Risk and Compliance organization, reporting upwards to the Convera Board.
There are many other programs already established in such areas as Ethics, Compliance and Risk, Cyber Security, and Legal which are integral to a successful ESG strategy.
Convera will review each program to ensure they all encompass the principles and values of our ESG strategy, and correct alignment around governance and reporting.
